We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Marketing & Sales Professional Mentor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a guide to our mentees, assisting them in exploring and developing their careers, including technical knowledge and skills in the industry. Your expertise and experience will play a crucial role in helping mentees navigate the complexities of the industry, make informed decisions, and achieve their professional goals. Responsibilities As a mentor, you will be responsible for: Providing personalized mentorship and career guidance to individuals at various stages of their marketing and sales careers.
Collaborating with mentees to define clear career objectives and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
Sharing hands-on experiences and practical insights into different facets of marketing and sales, including strategies, tactics, and industry trends.
Offering advice on educational choices, internships, clerkships, and job opportunities.
Providing ongoing support by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering advice throughout the mentees' career journey.
Monitoring mentees' progress and providing constructive feedback to help them overcome challenges and improve their performance.
Staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices to provide relevant and accurate guidance.
Requirements To excel in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
A proven track record of success in marketing and sales roles, with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the field.
A deep understanding of marketing and sales principles, strategies, and best practices across various industries and market segments.
In-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and guide individuals.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assist mentees in overcoming career-related challenges.
Experience in working on a project at university or company is an advantage.
Experience in mentoring or counseling students is an advantage.
Empathy and a genuine commitment to the well-being and success of students.
Knowledge of educational systems, career pathways, and college admissions processes is an advantage.
