The Work You Will Do:

This is a highly responsible position that provides administrative support to the Office of Open Government. This position works under the direction of the Public Records Coordinator and the General Counsel.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responds to request for records from internal and external customers;
  • Prepares official correspondence on behalf the Department and Office of Open Government related to public records requests;
  • Researches, retrieve, coordinate efforts in responding to records requests received from the public, press, government agencies, and internal customers;
  • Assists with continued improvement, quality control and oversight of the Department's public records database;
  • Certifies Final Orders and Administrative Complaints as true and correct copies;
  • Assists in retrieving microfilm/scanned documents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma; and
  • At least two years administrative experience, clerical or legal secretarial experience; and
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Additional Requirements :

This position involves sitting and working on a computer for long periods of time.

Preference will be given to those who have experience working with public records, knowledge of Versa Regulation and GovQA.
