Job Description - Operation/ Buisness Manager

Adecco is assisting their client with their search for Operations /Business Manager.

Type: 40hrs/wk. Contract

Start Date: 1-2 weeks

Location: Remote

Pay: $39.00

Duration: Temp (July- can extend)

Shift: 9am- 5pm EST

Description:

This job is responsible for….
Manage the editing and revision of the company’s Crisis Management policy; including the creation of
flow charts, graphics, and suggesting efficiencies.
Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
In this policy writer role, you will be responsible for updating and revising current policies to reflect
industry best practices, helping to safeguard the company’s employees and business operations.
· Create operational procedures, internal manuals, forms, reference guides, workflows or other
materials related to policies and procedures.
· Analyze business processes and meet with SMEs to determine documentation requirements and
ensure specialized topics are appropriately documented.
· Gather information through research, SME interviews, source documents, and review of existing
documentation.
· Update and edit existing policies and procedures for accuracy and clarity and consult with
Management and SMEs regarding any noted ambiguity, omissions, or recommendations on
process improvements.
· Design and create various department document templates
· Organize, publish, and maintain a document library as well as up-to-date records and files of
work, schedule of writing assignments, and other assigned projects.
· Implement and maintain practices to promote consistency, accuracy, and completeness across all
documents
· Other responsibilities as delegated by the management team
Required Qualifications and Experience:
· Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management
· 3-years work experience in insurance or other regulated industries with heavy concentration on
compliance/regulatory issues and solutions
· Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
· Basic knowledge of Project Management
· Ability to define work processes and create SOPs and workflows
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong organizational skills
· Knowledge of crisis management
· Demonstrated project management
· High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
· Analytical approach to process improvement/problem solving
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to focus on business needs with flexibility to needs of clients and consumers
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in understanding and applying statutes and regulations to business processes
Experience in creating and interpreting terms and conditions
