Description

POSITON DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidates to support the execution of an advanced research and development program.

• Work with program office teams to develop program objectives, assess capability gaps, derive required operational capabilities, and integrated roadmaps.

• Support the development of acquisition and technical documentation including statements of work, specification and test plans.

• Serve as the operational focal point for customer engagement and program management throughout the design, engineering, integration, test and program execution process.

• Provide subject matter expertise and insight on the utilization, operation, modeling and program design efforts for tactical aviation platforms.

• Provide evaluation of operational and developmental system simulation, design and test efforts, and participate in the development and implementation of advanced system solutions.

• Develop and maintain deviation and discrepancy reports for test or simulations of interest, and work with engineering developmental staff to reduce those discrepancies.

• Work with operational subject matter experts involved in flight test, training, and warfighting development to understand critical requirements, design and simulation features that must be represented and evaluated.

• Support and provide insight to determine the effectiveness of program execution and recommend processes for activities or design reviews.

• Work with the program management and team leads to develop out-year planning for future requirements/capabilities, and provide input to roadmaps for analysis, risk reduction, and integration of capabilities.

• Travel (30-50%) is required for this position.

Requirements

MINIMUM TANGIBLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.

• Experience: Candidate must have at least ten (10) of military background in tactical aviation systems and employment of Concept of Operations/Employment of those systems.

• Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office products and Adobe.

• Candidate should have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.

• Active Top Secret clearance
