Vintun is seeking an experienced Acquisition Operations and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in support of our USMC client in the Quantico and Stafford, VA area. The Commander Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) established Program Manager, Wargaming Capability (PM WGC) to develop and field a system of systems to fulfill the capability gaps identified in the Wargaming Capability Capabilities Development Document (CDD). Vintun provides enterprise support to PM WGC. The PM WGC is responsible for all aspects of acquiring the capabilities defined within the WGC CDD that will focus on providing a state of the art Wargaming Center. The PM WGC requires Acquisition Operations and Administrative support in order to lay the foundation for the aggressive schedule projected and meet all milestones and projected goals as laid out. Vintun provides direct support to the PM WGC Team in their duties to enable the development and implementation of the necessary war gaming capabilities for the new USMC Wargaming Center.
Job Tasks
- Track internal and external taskers and ensure timely and accurately completion and closure of tasker and required actions
- Consolidate tasker data to create single submission; track internal tasker metrics as required.
- Receive, review, track, and compile final acquisition documentation
- Update, administer, and provide regular reports with respect document approval and processing within the program office including metrics on duration, completion, and staffing
- Maintain and update the current repeatable procedure, process and workflow for the receipt, secure storage, and retrieval of required documentation
- Coordinate with the program manager to manage floor plans, including updating SharePoint workspace assignment maps and databases, and inputting new arrivals into the proper database for inclusion to official floor plans.
- Supporting program office morale and welfare activities and events, retirement activities and events, responding to requests for information from the Command and/or other internal or external organizations, assisting with public affairs activities, and support of ad-hoc efforts involving SOPs, procedures, guidelines, policies, or orders
- Review and edit correspondence and documentation for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format to ensure compliance with governing policies and procedures
- Provide advanced technical writing and editing support of acquisition documentation, and ensure consistency, format, language, grammar, and technical accuracy in keeping with governing policies and procedures
- Facilitate a prompt review and signature process
- Manage documents in SharePoint to include experience in creating, editing, and closing document workflows to ensure document configuration control in coordination with PMO leadership, team leads, team members, and outside organizations
- Assist personnel with completion of travel requirements to include reviewing DTS authorizations and vouchers submitted by Government travelers
- Transmit security clearance information and process visit requests for Government personnel attending classified meetings.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars for the Program Mgr and Deputy Program Mgr
- Assist with inbound/outbound personnel activities
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
Requirements/Qualifications
- Have two to eight years of professional work experience in operations and administrative support positions.
- Have a strong working knowledge and understanding of the DoD Acquisition Framework Process and the Defense Acquisition Guide in a support focus.
- Have extensive experience working with the DOD in an acquisition environment at the program management level
- Have a BS in applicable engineering or technical field
- Excellent Writing skills
- Above average skills with MS Office programs
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of the DON Correspondence Manual SECNAV M-5216.5, Marine Corps Order 5216.20B, GPO Style Manual, and the MCSC Acquisition Guide
- Working knowledge of the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly DoN TRACKER) NIPR and SIPR Tasker Management System and its functionality
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required Possible lifting up to 25lbs.
