Job Description

Operate the Burner, FL1, FL2, VN, SPR and Amides Kettle, and in process analytical work. Perform the field work for the Burner, FL1, FL2, VN, SPR and Amides Kettle, perform in process and final analytical work.

Process all necessary paperwork and documentation in Stepan Company computer systems and/or manually. This includes, but is not limited to SAP, PI sheets, shipment paperwork, CMMS, etc.

Perform Lockout Tagout, permit writing, assist contractors, perform inspections and monitor inventories.

Drumming and unloading of drums, truck loading and unloading, tank car unloading, operate a forklift truck.

Simple machine maintenance for operations and assist maintenance.

Train new employees, Well water treatment, monitoring and servicing. General cleanup of the area, perform other production relate duties and assist in other areas as directed.

Qualifications

Forklift certified.

Previous experience at a Chemical facility or Refinery.

12 hours shifts. 4 on 4 off rotation. 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.

Education

High school diploma.
