Oracle database administrator

Role Description: As an Oracle Database Administrator , you must have at least 10+ years of experience. For this role, you must be a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team in an onshore capacity.

As a Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of the database systems. If you possess a strong background in database management, have a keen eye for optimization, and are passionate about maintaining data integrity, we invite you to be a part of our growing organization.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and secure database systems.

- Ensure data integrity, availability, and performance through regular monitoring and optimization.

- Conduct performance analysis and implement optimization strategies to enhance database efficiency.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and improve overall application performance.

- Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.

- Perform regular testing of backup and recovery procedures to ensure data resilience.

- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.

- Monitor for security vulnerabilities and apply patches or updates as needed.

- Facilitate seamless data migration between environments and integrate databases with other applications.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth data flow within the system.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Keep documentation up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address database-related issues and provide timely support.

- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems.

- Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

Basic Qualifications:

- Proven experience (10 years) as a Database Administrator in an onshore capacity.

- Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL

Required Skills:

- DBA and SQL Developer; Oracle Database Administration (DBA); Eligibility Determination; Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES); Project Management; Supporting; Problem Solving; ITIL V2 Service Desk; Information Technology (IT).

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
