Overnight Truck Driver

Position Overview

Maxway is currently seeking Class A CDL Drivers .  Maxway Drivers deliver as contractors for the U.S Post Office in the region. We offer our drivers:

Schedule:  Various Night Shift Positions

Qualifications:

CDL drivers with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply immediately:

• 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid CDL license (Class A ).
• Current DOT Medical card.
• Clean MVR
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Pass post office background check (5 Years back)

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Post and pre-trip inspections
• Must Load and unload vehicles using proper equipment we provide.
• Safely operate the vehicle obeying all traffic laws and road conditions.
• Ability to safely back truck into loading and unloading position several times during each shift.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid if needed
• Plan and/or adjust route based on changes or conditions.
• Communicate effectively with others including but not limited to co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and or customers.
