Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Division of Aging and Disability Division is recruiting a full-time Personnel Analyst II, located in Carson City. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in Human Resources. The Human Resources Analyst II provides oversight of Human Resource functions under general direction from the Human Resources Officer III. This position will supervise employees, manage recruitment and retention strategy efforts across ADSD. This role will also provide consultation to all levels of management and employees to respond to and resolve diverse human resources issues; advises on federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures; participates in grievance resolution and a variety of corrective actions, including disciplinary actions; advises on employment benefits, rights, and protections including workers compensation, FMLA, ADA, Cat leave, etc. Develops agency HR protocols and procedures and reviews and advises on classification and compensation issues. Completes regular and requested reports using Microsoft Excel, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Word.
