Job Description - Plant Administrative Coordinator

Plant Administrative Coordinator Location Tampa, FL :

What You Will Be Responsible:

  • Process weekly hourly payroll, garnishments, manual checks, expense reports.
  • Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to the following:
    • Schedule meetings for plant leadership and manage plant calendar
    • Greet & escort visitors
    • Distribute mail
    • May have to originate travel for plant leadership
    • Procure, replenish and maintain supplies, services and equipment including marketing materials for giveaways
    • Organize plant business, social activities, and community involvement events.
    • Answer, direct, screen, and place telephone calls.
  • Assist with dunnage receipts, scrap worksheets, and/or metal receipts as needed.
  • Assist with administrative details associated with logistics of recruiting and onboarding employees.
  • Maintain required forms, documents, records, and personnel files on a regular basis, may be asked to create new forms and documents.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the plant safety program, training materials, library, and visual aids.
  • Originate and distribute plant monthly newsletter and responsible for updating communication boards within the plant.
  • Comply with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work environment.
  • Participate in plant specific projects and teams, as requested by leadership.

What We Are Seeking:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 2 years payroll experience.
  • 2 or more years of administrative and/or office management experience.
  • Proficiency with standard software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong customer focus and drive to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience handling sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
  • Ability and willingness to work in both an office and manufacturing environment, including following all safety policies and wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Human Resources experience.
  • Event planning experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $46,300-66,585 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
