The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supporting various strategic and operational activities of the Sourcing and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who is driven, organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys developing business processes. This role will participate in sourcing/procurement initiatives, program management, and communication with all levels of the organization. They will be responsible for creating, implementing, overseeing, and streamlining procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

In this role, you will: 

• Create and manage requisitions for Dish Wireless business units, including PO forms as required
• Lead procurement projects from initiation to execution, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness, while managing stakeholders and maintaining client relations
• Support vendor onboarding, part number setup, purchase requisitions, and delivery tracking
• Develop program plans and reporting metrics to aid strategic and tactical decision-making
• Assist in creating detailed purchase plans for material requirement planning and vendor qualification
• Participate in progress tracking meetings and issue resolution to ensure program timelines are met
• Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices for operational efficiency

As a successful Procurement Specialist, you will have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and suppliers/OEMs in wireless network material and equipment
• Knowledge of wireless network infrastructure and industry trends is advantageous
• Basic understanding of ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills in operations and finance
• Proficiency in Google Suite products with excellent written and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities, skilled problem solver, and a passion for team collaboration

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
