Production Operator

Adecco  is currently recruiting for an Industrial Janitor in the  Akron, Ohio area.  Our client’s is the largest manufacturer of separable reciprocating gas compressors world-wide .
This Role Offers:

• Base Pay: $17 per hour
  • Monday through Thursday
  • 5am- 3:30pm

Janitorial Job Description:
As an industrial Janitor you will operating a forklift to empty chip hoppers around the facility as well performing the basic janitorial duties.  Removing trash, maintaining breakrooms, and clearing snow when needed.  You will also assist the maintenance crew with some tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean flooring using vacuums, carpet shampoo machinery, floor polisher/buffer, or hand mops.
• Clean office areas, cubicles, break rooms, kitchens and restrooms including Training Center and R&D) and arrange/organize common meeting areas in the offices.
• Make coffee.
• Collect waste materials from individual or collection waste receptacles and properly dispose of materials.
• Maintain all janitorial supplies as needed, and notify appropriate personnel when supplies run low.
• Uses tow motor on a regular basis to Empty chip hoppers and trash cans from around the plant and maintain clean environment in hopper room.
• Cleanout evaporator
• Clean-up coolant spills
• Salt/Shovel sidewalks and parking lots at all facilities
• Empty outside trash receptacles
• Assist with general labor as directed by supervisor and help with TPM’s.
• There is a lot of walking involved with this position.

Requirements:
Proof of HD Diploma or GED
Valid Driver License
1 Year of Forklift experience (must pass online assessment) Click to apply
