Production Planner

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Production Planner for our client located in Danbury, CT.  Temp-to-Hire opportunity - $18hr - $25 hr

Responsibilities for the Production Planner may include but are not limited to the following:

• Review open customer orders and make to stock orders

• Develop production schedules using Excel – create/adjust to meet needs

• Review manufacturing orders for material availability – coordinating with purchasing

• Communicate with Sales/Customer Service order completion date and delays

• Identify capacity issues in assigned area, with the operations team

• Work within ERP system

Production / Materials Planner candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Proficient in understanding of Production planning

• 1+ year exp with the flow of processes and material through the manufacturing environment

• 6 mo+ exp in inventory management – strongly preferred

• At least 1 year with ERP/MRP systems – accurate data entry skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing

• Working with supply chains

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay rate - $ 18 - $25 hr – DOE
