Production Technician

Volt is immediately hiring Temporary Production Technicians/ Forklift Operators at Corteva in Algona, IA.
As a Production Technician you will:

• Perform general warehouse duties
• General machine operation (harvest and production skills)
• Inspection work
• Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and sit- specific standards
• Use forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks to load/unload trucks in warehouse
• Transport inventory via forklift and other warehouse equipment to and from the loading/unloading/staging areas
• Accurately pick merchandise/inventory from warehouse locations/racking using forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks

Production Technicians must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Willing to do general production warehouse work
• Ability to consistently lift 40-50 pounds
• Willingness to learn forklift
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Material Handler
• Warehouse Worker

Pay Rate: $21 - $24/hr
