University of IdahoProgram CoordinatorLocation: Moscow, Off Campus Location - Hybrid or remote work possible dependent on policy and individual basisDivision/College: Vice Provost for Academic InitiativesEmployee Category: ClassifiedPay Range: $20.00 per hour or higher depending on education and experienceFTE: 1Full/Part Time: Full TimePosition Summary:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.
Duties may include:
  • Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
  • Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
  • Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
  • Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
  • Maintaining program calendars and schedules
  • May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years performing administrative or office support functions
  • Composing, proofing and editing a variety of business documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
  • Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience:
    • Providing customer service
    • Using centralized computer systems while completing administrative tasks
    • Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services
    • Independently solving problems and performing liaison activities in a work setting and coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements
    • Working with Banner, Canvas and/or Marketplace
    • Applying University of Idaho policies
    • Adhering to FERPA guidelines
    • Experience optimizing the efficiency of storage systems and procedures
