The Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience (IBB, ) is located in Georgia Tech's thriving Biotechnology Complex was launched in 1995. IBB serves to catalyze new research and education initiatives at the interface of bioengineering and bioscience and integrate the broad range of bio-related activities throughout Georgia Tech and its partner institutions.

The Office of Outreach for IBB is in search of a Program & Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks for the ENGAGES, Petit Scholars, Bridge to Employment, and GT-ESTEEMED programs. Responsibilities may include welcoming student participants, managing office files, updating paperwork and databases, onboarding students, processing reimbursements, setting up student travel to conferences, tracking student timesheets, completing internal audits, assisting with annual reporting, event planning and catering, creating event flyers and registration databases, developing program newsletters, professional development training, attending team meetings, and performing general office duties and tasks as required. Job Summary

Provide promotional, administrative, performance assessment, and financial/accounting services in support of assigned program(s) within a research center, academic unit, or other campus units of a school. These functions may encompass a variety of activities related to program success including coordination of program marketing, program administration, program operations, and program development. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: research, academic and administrative management and staff with a school or center and across campus, vendors and sponsors. This role is primarily dependent on sponsored research. All employment and assignments are ultimately contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Design/develop promotional and marketing materials to include those developed for specific target audiences in support of program outreach efforts. Job Duty 2 -
Plan, schedule and coordinate promotional events. Job Duty 3 -
Coordinate administrative activities associated with program operations such as procurement, records maintenance, compliance, meeting arrangements and minutes, and document preparation. Job Duty 4 -
Develop, analyze, reconcile and report financial data related to program operations. Job Duty 5 -
Develop and maintain performance assessment tools applied in program review to measure and report progress. Job Duty 6 -
Collaborate with internal and external entities to aid institutional or program support. Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience
Four to six years of job related experience Preferred Qualifications

· Must be able to navigate and use all Word processing applications.

· Possess great organizational and office skills such as filing, scanning, and operating a copy machine.

· Experience with managing databases.

· Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills.

· The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and/or within a team environment. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of research program promotion and administration. Included are skills in development and administering program assessment tools, marketing, and financial analysis and reporting. Also required are skills in planning, organization, spoken and written communications, scheduling and customer service. Use of office and specialized computer applications and databases are required.

Job Grade: A8

Salary range: $52,894 to $53,000

Due to the responsibilities of this position, this role requires 100% onsite presence on Georgia Tech's Atlanta campus.

Requires lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds.

Must be comfortable driving a club cart.
