The University of Michigan Arts Initiative seeks to illuminate and expand human connections, inspire collaborative creativity, and build a more just and equitable world through the arts. The Arts Initiative seeks a Graphic Designer and Communications Assistant to design promotional materials and assist with support of Arts Initiative Communications. Primary responsibilities include developing collateral for programs and events; coordinating implementation of branding, assisting with development of newsletter and promotion; and supporting social media efforts. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines with acute attention to detail, and build high-quality relationships with staff, artists, donors, and students. The Graphic Designer and Communications Assistant reports to the Associate Managing Director of the Arts Initiative. This position is based in Ann Arbor, MI and will be hybrid in nature working both remotely and on site. This position is a three-year term with possibility for extension.

Project and Admin Coordinator has the following duties and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a background in the arts and/or in some combination of production/project management, academic programming, arts programming, event planning, administrative support.

Salary This is a non-exempt, 60% position at the University of Michigan.
