W e currently have a great opportunity for a Receptionist and Facilities Administrative Support. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner. Direct callers to appropriate parties or departments.
  2. Serve as initial contact for greeting visitors, logging guest visits and alerting appropriate parties of visitor’s arrival. Assist in transporting of guests as needed.
  3. Maintain security procedures (i.e. issue badges, ensure completion of visitor log, etc.).
  4. Support Sysmex Green Team.
  5. Assist with departmental projects both on an ongoing and as needed basis (monthly maintenance logs, project requests, inspections, etc).
  6. Support Outlook calendar for Operations VP as needed.
  7. Serve as concierge assisting guests with surrounding area information and questions. Assist in storing guest essentials (coats, luggage, etc.) during visit. Coordinate transportation for visitors as needed.
  8. Assist in maintaining the entry and lobby cleanliness as well as receive and direct deliveries such as food, flowers, etc.
  9. Manage the office supplies inventory and order supplies as necessary to ensure the facility has all necessary supplies for operation.
  10. Other duties as assigned

Physical Risk: Regular exposures to risk that may require special training and precautions.

 

Physical Demands : Light physical effort. Routine handling of objects up to 20 pounds; prolonged (at least 50% of time) sitting, standing, keyboard or CRT work. May require periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting and/or other conditions.

 

  • High School diploma/GED degree and 1-2 years year’s of relevant experience required, which may include experience in the Armed Forces. Associates degree preferred.

  • SAP/Concur program knowledge preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Microsoft Suite – Intermediate to Advanced

  • Cisco Phone System Skills Preferred

  • Executive support & Outlook Calendar manage

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
