Overview Regional Director - School Operations - CA Job Summary Our regional directors are responsible for managing school accounts and employees in their respective regions. Employees in this position should be looking to develop organic growth within their current accounts and seek future growth in targeted regions. These individuals will develop strong school infrastructures by assigning and managing team lead roles and ensuring that their accounts and school staff feel supported. We are empowering our Directors to play a pivotal role in charting our course for the future of our company by making them pivotal drivers of our success in this evolving business landscape to grow within accounts and find new business. Reporting You will report directly to the Regional Vice President of the School Division, providing regular updates on regional performance, growth opportunities, and market insights. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: District Needs Assessment: Understand the unique needs and challenges of each school district within the region. Develop strategies to address these needs effectively, ensuring that our services align with their objectives. Service Line Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand and diversify our service offerings within the school districts. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop new service lines that meet district requirements and align with the company's capabilities. Bill Rate Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and bill rates with school districts to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership. Strive to maintain competitive pricing while upholding service quality standards. Recruitment and Staffing: Work closely with the HR team to manage the recruitment process for open requisitions within school districts. Ensure that candidates selected are the best fit for the district's needs and our services. Interview Assistance: Support school districts in the interviewing process by providing guidance, resources, and, when necessary, participating in interviews with potential hires to ensure they meet the districts' standards. Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess the performance of services provided to the districts. Make necessary adjustments and improvements to enhance the quality of our support. Contract Management: Oversee the contractual agreements with the school districts, ensuring compliance and accountability on both sides. Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including superintendents, district administrators, and school board members. Team Lead Management: Manage and support a team of leads responsible for overseeing the delivery of services in school districts. Staff Management: Oversee the staff working within the designated regions that do not fall under team leads, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with the company's goals. Billing and Payroll Alignment: Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure accurate billing and alignment of payroll processes, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial transactions. Ordering Supplies/Equipment: Coordinate the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment to support the delivery of services within school districts, ensuring that all items are readily available when needed. New Business Development: Proactively seek and engage new business opportunities, including cold calling, building relationships with potential clients, and acquiring contracts. RFP Process Assistance: Assist in completing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including gathering necessary information, drafting responses, and submitting proposals to secure new business contracts.   • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, healthcare administration, business management,). A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on strategic planning, business development, and operations management, preferably within the pediatric healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the pediatric therapy landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make informed decisions to drive profitability and management of KPIs.
  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pediatric therapy. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to outpatient pediatric clinic functions.
