Job Description - Remote Administrative Assistant

Seahawk Services in Chesapeake, VA is looking for one remote administrative assistant to join our team. We are located on 504 Pinchelone Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable. You will work closely with our team to manage various tasks efficiently, maintain organized records, and provide excellent support to both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the management team and staff, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documents in both physical and digital formats.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and other correspondence.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
  • Conduct research on various topics and compile information as required.
  • Assist in organizing company events, team-building activities, and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual setting is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.
