What We Need:

Ohio EPA Administrative Professional 2

What We Do:

At the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, our primary goal is to protect the environment and public health. We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.

What We Need YOU To Do:

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest administrative professional in the Division of Environmental Response and Revitalization (DERR), working at our Southeast District Office in Hocking County.

Interested? We thought so!

As an administrative professional in DERR, you’ll be assisting in routine administrative duties, tracking staff time accounted in Ohio EPA’s Time Accounting System, tracking documents submitted to and prepared by technical staff, as well as tracking technical project schedules to track compliance with program goals. You’ll prepare reports to summarize this information to aid in division decision making processes.

Additionally, you’ll maintain electronic files for the division, making certain that the database complies with state-mandated records retention programs. This includes ensuring all appropriate files and documents are available on schedule for review. You’ll also assist with data entry and maintaining technical databases.

On the outward-facing side, you’ll be performing public relations duties, including researching and responding to inquiries and complaints, as well as explaining DERR programs to the public and regulated community. Along with that, you’ll be coordinating business functions such as purchasing equipment and supplies, maintaining inventories, and preparing trainings.

Let’s take a breather and review the main points.

  • Coordinate business functions and perform routine clerical tasks in support of program operations.
  • Utilize retention schedules and electronic management systems to maintain program records.
  • Coordinate program records reviews and ensures all files are available upon request.
  • Maintain tracking databases associated with program commitments and goals.
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining technical databases.

Apply today, and let’s talk!
