No Position Purpose Dartmouth is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to serve as the AVP of Special Projects in the office of Government and Community Relations. Reporting to the Vice President for Government and Community Relations, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive marquee institutional initiatives, enhance external partnerships, and contribute to the institution's overall success. Bachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in project management, or related roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Passion for advancing education and contributing to Dartmouth's mission.
- Experience working in higher education.

Quick Link Description External Relations, Collaboration, and Stakeholder Engagement: - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including alumni, donors, corporations, and community organizations.
- Foster collaboration across campus to achieve shared goals. Create and maintain working groups and task forces that consist of vital stakeholders across campus. Work closely with academic leaders and departments, administrative units including and especially communications and government & community relations, and designated senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the Office of Advancement to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Engage with alumni, faculty, staff, and students who are contributing to the portfolio's designated projects.

- Initial projects will include Dartmouth Dialogues and Veterans at Dartmouth.
