IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a Desktop Operating System and Imaging Engineer to join our customer in Phoenix AZ This is an ONSITE position. Position requires heavy travel, pretty much all time. Please find below additional details about this job. Job Description: The Client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, with an emphasis on Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, SCCM computer imaging and software deployment, Tanium software deployments, system automation, TCP/IP design, group policies and scripting, and leading IT projects experience to support its Desktop Management team. The Desktop Management team values contributors who are passionate about customer service excellence, efficiency, creativity, and a big picture view of how to solve problems.
Skills Required -Strong customer service and analytical skills -Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills -Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills -Excellent self-organization and time management skills -Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations -Ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly -Ability to develop and write technical documentation -Ability to evaluate and test emerging technologies -Ability to apply creative solutions to business problems to ensure business needs are most effectively met *Resource will be working in a professional environment and will be held to a dress code standard
Experience Required -Bachelor (4 yr) degree, in a technical field, such as engineering or computer science OR equivalent work experience. Microsoft Windows operating systems SCCM Tanium Lansweeper Building and updating images System automation / Scripting TCP/IP design and troubleshooting skills in a large, multi-subnet environment Group policies Active Directory Technical documentation Leading IT projects ITIL framework experience Preferred certifications: MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, VCIX, AWS-CSA Professional, CompTIA Cloud+
