Job Description - Risk Adjustment Medical Records Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated Risk Adjustment Medical Records Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our mission by managing the retrieval and processing of medical records from provider offices. Your efforts will directly contribute to risk adjustment coding and data submission to regulatory bodies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Health and Human Services (HHS). Reporting to the Risk Adjustment Revenue Manager, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our record-keeping processes. Job Responsibilities: Requesting and processing medical records from provider offices. Contributing to risk adjustment coding and data submission to CMS and HHS. Collaborating with team members to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. Providing support to the Risk Adjustment Revenue Manager as needed. Job Qualifications: Education: Minimum Required: High school graduate. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Experience: Minimum Required: One-year administrative experience in a clinical setting (e.g., physician practice, hospital, insurance company). Preferred/Optional: Experience with extracting electronic medical records. Certifications/Licenses: Minimum Required: None. Preferred/Optional: None.
