POSITION SUMMARY:

The S2age Living Director is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring services for the S2age Living Residents within the S2age Living Community consistent with established best practices, the Fair Housing Act, policies and procedures. This TEAMember will support residents through advocacy, service coordination, marketing and admission processes. This TEAMember is responsible for delivery and development of the S2age Living model, including programming, surveys, data collection and analysis, and programming adjustments. This TEAMember establishes and monitors the community ensuring all Residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, respect, compassion, honesty, integrity, and trust. This TEAMember is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, clean and well maintained living environment. This TEAMember directs and supervises the performance of the S2age Living Life Enrichment Coordinator and Breakfast/Housekeeper Coordinator. This TEAMember coordinates with Tabitha’s Facility Services leaders to manage maintenance services for the S2age Living community. This TEAMember strives to uphold and inspire Tabitha’s LIVE2Care Culture and actively embraces Tabitha’s Core Values. As a result, the TEAMember supports Tabitha goals related to dignity, respect, independence, competence, autonomy, personal comfort, safety and security of Residents. In addition, the TEAMember contributes to the success of Tabitha through ongoing collaboration with family members, direct report TEAMembers, coworkers, management, volunteers and others in the organization.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assures all residents are oriented, actively engaged in programming and supported for success within S2age.
  2. Acts as primary on-site sales and marketing representative for the community by providing guidance, support and insight for all inquiries and leads. Provide information about apartment availability, amenities, cost, etc. Responds to all inquiries via phone, email or walk-in and conduct community tours.
  3. Coordinates and executes upon the sales and marketing strategies for the community in collaboration with Tabitha leadership to successfully identify target audiences and marketing activity driving established sales goals and timeframes.
  4. Works closely with Life Enrichment Coordinator to ensure programs are well designed, attended, and achieving the objective and goals of the S2age Living model
  5. Communicates effectively with researchers including those from Bryan College of Health Sciences (BCHS) so that aspects of the S2age Living model can be explored, verified and improved upon.
  6. Communicates effectively with BCHS leaders on matters of student activity, satisfaction, incidents and social engagement.
  7. Participates in writing and delivery of presentations, white papers, etc. on the subject of the S2age Living model and its impact on older adults and students.
  8. Fosters a positive and collaborative relationship with the Witherbee Neighborhood Association
  9. Addresses matters of non-payment with residents, when needed.
  10. Addresses matters of concern/incidents with residents and family members, when needed.
  11. Assists the Corporate Director in preparing the annual operating budget for S2age Living in such a manner as to meet the corporate goals and objectives.
  12. Maintains fiscal control of revenues and expenses within the parameters set by the approved operating budget. Demonstrates successful expense management:
    • Assures labor hours are within budget
    • Assures overall expenses are at or below budget
    • Assures expense variances are addressed immediately
  13. Participates in Resident Council meetings and provides follow-up communications and problem solving actions as requested.

AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. 

 

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of administrative experience in Senior Living management preferred. 

 

CREDENTIALS: Notary public required. Must obtain within 6 months of hire if not held currently. Valid Nebraska Driver’s license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required. Must possess auto insurance at or above Nebraska statutory requirements. Must meet Tabitha’s vaccination requirements.
