Position Details
SUMMARY:
Our school is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the leader of our high school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong commitment to student achievement, and the ability to manage and inspire a team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the high school, including curriculum development, teacher evaluations, student discipline, and parent communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote student achievement, safety, and well-being
- Manage and supervise faculty and staff, providing regular feedback and support to ensure high-quality instruction and professional growth
- Collaborate with teachers and other school leaders to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students
- Monitor student progress and provide support and interventions as needed to ensure academic success
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and the wider community to promote engagement and support for the school’s mission and goals
- Manage the school budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of funds
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student attendance and reduce absenteeism Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to education and school administration
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years experience at secondary level
- Master’s degree with emphasis in areas of administration, curriculum, reading, supervision, or educational leadership
- Meet School Administrator continuing education requirements
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in education and school administration
- Ability to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making and policy development Commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students, regardless of background or ability level.
