  • Pay Range: Negotiable, based upon experience
  • Position Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Here’s what to expect on the job:

  • Provide Director Level administrative support services in a consistent, dependable, and timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage all UCP contracts and files, apply contract specialist knowledge to simple negotiations and correspondence on behalf of UCP.
  • Determine priorities for the upcoming week, month, and year; maintaining a planning calendar that supports projects, initiatives, and on-going activities of the Directors.
  • Assist with incident management processes; including the distribution of reminders to Directors regarding monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Complete special projects and assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and implementing adjustments for plans.
  • Recommend and implement procedures to continuously improve operating efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies; ensuring that inventory is replaced in an anticipatory manner.
  • Schedule and organize activities, conferences, and events with external stakeholder groups (ie. State, County, and Local regulatory agencies and service partners); ensuring that all details and logistics are thoroughly planned and solutions are implemented for any and all challenges.
  • Monitor communication from various State agencies and provider organizations related to changes in regulations or practices; develop a summary of those changes; and communicate those changes to all appropriate parties.
  • Represent the Agency to internal and external stakeholder groups in a professional manner.

Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required.
  • Associate’s degree or technical certification within a related area preferred.
  • 6 months to 2 years of previous job-related experience expected.
  • Knowledge specific to the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism
  • A valid driver’s license and 6 months driving experience
  • 18 years of age
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand the English language

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with Government Relations and Advocacy, Total Quality Management, Volunteer and Donor Relations, and Contracting.
