The Finance Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for Fixed Assets for our Corporate, Retail and Wholesale locations. They will be responsible for recording cost and depreciation as well as tracking Fixed Assets. Knowledge of account reconciliations, monthly closing schedules, compliance, reporting, auditing, analysis and process improvement are all key components of this role. The right candidate for this role will have unique problem-solving skills and provide the best service and support to our internal customers and business partners. The ability to communicate across all levels of our business partners are required for this position and at times there will be interactions with our internal and external auditors in matters related to fixed assets. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Monthly forecast preparation, review and analysis
* Prepare month-end close for Fixed Assets
* Track and report on ad-hoc projects being managed
* Report and communicate across all levels of the Finance Community
* Support of monthly, quarterly and annual close-outs
* Develop creative approach to problem solving and identification of opportunities
* Create and maintain assets in the Fixed asset register Experience, Skills & Knowledge * Possess an understanding of principles of Accounting practices, using various tools for tracking and monitoring performance
* Strong understanding of practical accounting concepts with the ability to reconcile various General Ledger accounts
* Support compliance program working with both internal and external auditors
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and initiative with the ability to adhere to a month-end close timeline
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability 'to communicate to all levels of the organization
* Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility with a high level of customer service orientation
* Results orientated, flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
* Ability to work independently and adhere to tight deadlines
* Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and formulas) other Microsoft Office products including SAP
* BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Real Estate or a related field or equivalent experience
* At least 5 years of experience in a Finance/Accounting Shared Services environment
* Knowledge/navigation of MS Office application and ERP Accounting system
* Strong demonstrated analytical skills required
* Internal Audit and SOX compliance
* CPA, MBA and/or public accounting experience preferred
