What You'll Get to Do

As a Senior Network Engineer / Network Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge technologies. You will lead a team of engineers to analyze system architectures and make recommendations on how to enhance security posture against cyber threats. In addition, you will research new technologies and capabilities, establish collaborations with stakeholders for standardization and automation of processes and procedures across teams, identifying critical business functions, and automating them in order to facilitate data migration from legacy systems. You will also be instrumental in planning scalable infrastructure upgrades based on current as well as future needs.

• Analyze system architectures and providing recommendations to enhance security postures against cyber threats.
• Research and implement new technologies and capabilities to ensure teams remain ahead of the cyber threat landscape.
• Establish collaborations with stakeholders for standardization and automation of processes and procedures across teams.
• Identify critical business functions, automating them in order to facilitate data migration from legacy systems.
• Participate in design meetings with other engineers to review requirements for system development projects.
• Plan scalable infrastructure upgrades based on current as well as future needs.
• Construct comprehensive test plans that cover all security protocols as well as functional requirements.
• Write detailed user guides and documentation on technical setup procedures related to new systems or software packages implemented by the team.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline tasks related to system administration or troubleshooting efforts.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on servers, including antivirus scans, patch management activities, etc., to always maintain an optimal level of security.
• Monitor network traffic using sophisticated tools to detect any potential threats or malicious activity on the network before they become a problem.

You'll Bring These Qualifications

• Minimum of an active Secret clearance
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
• Experience constructing comprehensive test plans that cover all security protocols as well as functional requirements.
• Experience writing detailed user guides and documentation on technical setup procedures related to new systems or software packages implemented by the team.
• Experience developing automation scripts to streamline tasks related to system administration or troubleshooting efforts.
• Experience monitoring network traffic using tools like Wireshark or tcpdump to detect any potential threats or malicious activity on the network.
• Experience leading a team of engineers to analyze system architectures and making recommendations to enhance the security posture.
