The ACH Payment Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for
- supporting the processing of payments and related activities.
- providing recommendations on how to improve processes or change the performance results. directly relating to payment processing and supporting activities.
- implementing the processes.
The ideal candidate will have ACH Payment experience.
This is a hybrid position located in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Will train on the 8 am - 4:30 pm day shift, but will work the 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm night shift.
Job Description:
- Responsible for handling critical time-sensitive start-of-the-day and end-of-the-day wire functional and reporting deliverables plus, coverage for general wire inquiries and disposition.
- Aims to deliver superior service to clients by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of people, processes, and technology to enhance financial performance, increase investment capacity, and manage risk.
- Builds sustainable repeatable capabilities that support the delivery of the highest standards of service and execution.
- Analyzes and reviews data tools, business processes, and operational standards to execute service delivery.
- Will Evaluate and ensure that operations meet company objectives, business needs, service agreements, and relevant requirements.
- Researches and monitors an external landscape to identify developments and translate them into operational implications for the company.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert within his/her process.
- Supports processing of payment transactions and related activities.
- Reports issues of concern or matters of potential loss to the Manager.
- Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Adheres to Privacy Policy and Code of Ethics and follows all policies and procedures related to Consumer Compliance laws, regulators, and best practice recommendations.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics. Required.
Work Experience:
- Experience in ACH or Wire Operations and Management., 3-5 years. Required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, and volume.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers, team, and management.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and then provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments.
- Adequate knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Teams, & Word.
- Developing knowledge of the cash management industry, including systems, products, and services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Work in a fast-paced environment where able to be reactionary and flexible to reprioritize work when necessary
