JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges JOB SUMMARY -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES • Work as the team lead over projects and tasks building computer hardware and operating system solutions • Maintain all hardware and software for ATCS (Air Traffic Control System) Servers and GUI processing infrastructure • Manage, update, compile and distribute ATCS database and associated support software libraries • Design, implement and integrate software tools to interface with IFF native data formats • Design, write and maintain UNIX scripting languages to support operations and CM of ATCS • Manage the design, development, test and delivery of ANSI C and Basic software support systems • Perform daily operational support for the ATCS operating system, security controls, configs, backups and restores • Manage the network infrastructure supporting the data and delivery for the ATCS interfaces • Research, select and integrate new technologies into the existing work-center IT infrastructure • Complete complex assignments requiring technical expertise under minimum supervision • Possess and maintain a DOD 8570 Information Assurance Level-II certification • Performs all functions/tasks required to establish ATO (Authorization to Operate) on multiple networks • Design and implement cross domain secure solutions interfacing networks at different classification levels • Other duties as required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience managing projects, teams, personnel, and budgets • Experience with LINUX System Administration on Dell hardware • Experience with Red_Hat LINUX in an IT Enterprise environment • Ability to deploy, configure, secure, maintain and patch LINUX servers supporting host applications REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree in associated discipline from an accredited academic institution or equivalent experience through technical training, completion of a recognized certification program, or experience Requires at least 9 years of experience in computer system related areas of expertise and must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems In addition, a Systems Administrator IV must possess the following qualifications: • Must have specific experience in the maintenance of Operating Systems and support applications, in a centralized and distributed server environment • Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance • Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $104,000 to $145,600 annually Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience,
