Service Manager Needed!

Our team has partnered with a highly respected Trucking repair dealership who is currently seeking a Service Manager to join their team. Recognized today as a global leader in powerful, reliable, and highly efficient equipment. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in John Deere and similar equipment. Other qualifications include: - 3+ years experience in Service Department operations - Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions - Talent for writing and speaking effectively to individuals and groups - Skill to analyze and interpret internal reports - Ability to work extended hours and weekends - Excellent customer service skills Responsibilities include: - Scheduling and assigning jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge - Assists with the development and training of service personnel - Monitors service sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals - Participates in the development and execution of the Corporate Service Marketing Plan - Ensures all departmental tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order - Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position - Submits all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe If you are ready to start the new year off with new beginnings, here is your opportunity!
