Volt is immediately hiring Shipping Associate for a local leading manufacturing company in Miramar .
As a Shipping Associate you will:

• Fulfilling orders on time and providing outstanding service on shipping options for the customer.
• Keep up to date on all small carrier changes, regulations and customer needs.
• Pull, package, invoice daily orders within time constraints keeping part traceability on lot numbers.
• Balance and close out each day. Review and follow up on department software updates, contracts, claims and carrier issues
• International and domestic shipping
• Commercial invoicing
• Receiving and packaging WOs
• Cycle Counting
• Flex up into general receiving department

This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Min. 2 years of relevant shipping experience is required
• Min. 2 years of warehouse experience is preferred
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to work within a deadline under pressure and handle interruptions
• Excellent computer skills

Schedule: Monday-Friday

• 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $23-24 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
