Job Description:
The Slate Application Administrator IV is responsible for supporting technical operations for all instances in the universitys Slate implementation, including system maintenance and monitoring, implementation of new product features, integrations with other university systems, process automation, security, and highly complex query development and operational reporting. This is a specialist position that will provide technical solutions to support planning, development, and coordination of admissions efforts to recruit prospective students across all campuses and admit centers. The Slate Application Administrator will serve in an advisory capacity and assist with increasing prospective student engagement and recruitment efficiency by enabling data driven decision making, recommending technical solutions, and participating in the development of CRM strategies.
Duties include:
Perform design and development tasks that require expert knowledge of business processes, data structures, and Slate functionality. Research, prototype, and implement new product features. Create, maintain and support imports and exports. Develop and implement strategies to optimize duplicate resolution and to ensure date integrity. Build and maintain highly complex queries and reports. Create, maintain and monitor Slate rules and workflows. Create SQL queries or scripts in Slate to supplement application functionality.
Develop and execute test plans for changes to functionality and changes to integrations. Implement and administer security. Monitor systems logs and system performance. Enter support tickets and work with the vendor to resolve issues in a timely fashion. Create and maintain documentation for requirements, architecture diagrams, environment setup, data mapping, standard practices and procedures, troubleshooting and information related to the ongoing support and maintenance for all Slate instances.
Gain and maintain expert knowledge of the functionality of the software, industry best practices, and Ohio University business processes. Research product features and make recommendations to enrollment management leadership to achieve strategic objectives. Participate in the formulation of practices and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of experience maintaining the technical configuration of a CRM implementation or of a closely related application, including
6+ years of experience with data management ( SQL queries, data exports and imports, data integrity, duplicate resolution, configuring and administering data security, etc.).
Experience with web technologies such as HTML , CSS , JavaScript, XML , etc.
Experience with admission and recruiting processes in higher education.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with both IT resources and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience maintaining the technical configuration of a Technolutions Slate implementation.
Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
Experience with scripting languages such as Linux, PowerShell, and Python.

Advertised Salary:
$95,000-$105,000 depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
