Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of Academic Social Media, the Social Media Coordinator creates and posts day-to-day social media content on the following channels: academic colleges and OHIO Online. This position will organize and populate the content calendar for their respective social media channels. They will take ownership of the social posting process, including copywriting, gathering and/or creating assets (photo, video, website, graphics, etc.), ensuring digital accessibility and OHIO brand guidelines, and creating social media posts. Using Sprout Social, and monitor day-to-day conversations and interactions with our audiences, including direct messages and questions.
This position is located in Athens, Ohio. May occasionally work outside of normal office hours for on-campus activities, programming, etc., on an as-needed basis.

Pay Rate
Target hiring range for this role is $36,279 to $45,296. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position, while also considering internal equity.
