About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Data Content Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the expansion and management of our sports data and content suppliers, optimizing supplier relationships, and identifying strategic opportunities for growth. As a key sportsbook data and content team, this role must blend technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve our company's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing suppliers to ensure smooth operations and optimize performance.
• Assess and understand complex data and content contracts to identify value opportunities within existing agreements.
• Manage the end-to-end invoice management processes, including receiving, processing, and tracking invoices from vendors and suppliers.
• Serve as a liaison among finance, commercial, legal, and procurement teams to establish processes for data and content contract and vendor management practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess supplier performance and manage pricing agreements.
• Craft engaging presentations and reports to communicate financial and supplier insights effectively.
• Develop and implement strategies to identify and onboard new suppliers, focusing on expanding our sportsbook content.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time.
• Must be open to travel up to 20% of the time.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, supplier management, or related roles.
• Experience and/or understanding of the US online gaming industry, including knowledge of industry trends, key players, and regulatory landscape.
• A grasp of the professional and amateur global sports landscape.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing relationships with stakeholders in the online sports betting and casino space, i.e., data suppliers or professional sports teams and leagues.
• Proven track record with successful contract negotiation and interpreting complex commercial agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and improve relationships with a network of revenue-impacting suppliers.
• Experience working with accounting and finance departments, demonstrating effective communication and coordination to ensure alignment with finance operations and reporting requirements.

Licensing Requirements

As a online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
