Sr Materials Planning Specialist

We are currently seeking a Sr. Materials Planning Specialist to join our team in St. Nazianz, WI. 

• Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers, both direct and indirect.
• Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
• Compiles data and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements and indirect material budget projections.
• Oversees the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
• Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking the physical inventory.
• Develops specifications for new and changed contract orders.
• Other related duties as assigned.

This position pays $63,375 to $92,950 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

The qualified candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other technical discipline plus 5 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 or more years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or materials analysis

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with an ERP system and SAP
• Advanced PC skills to include MS Office suite
• World Class Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
• Experience in an OEM vehicle environment is a plus
• Strong technical skills and aptitude
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
