Needed Skills:

• B.S. Degree in technical subject 
• 10+ years of direct experience in system administration. (can sub degree with 4 additional yrs. experience)
• Experience working with Linux/Unix (CentOS) environment.
• Experience installing/configuring COTS software applications
• Ability to create/analyze/modify bash and Perl scripts
• Experience with log management, network protocols and testing
• Ability to triage and prioritize tasks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task and work independently would be helpful

Desired Skills:

• Experience with messaging 
• Ability to configure servers, network and storage
• Understanding of firewalls, IP tables, user account management
• VM management
• Operating system performance tuning and Linux security
