System Engineer - Level - Tools System Engineer

Stratum Networks is a rapidly growing information assurance and cybersecurity solutions company that provides high-end network and security consulting to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. We are looking for a talented and passionate candidate who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.

Job Description:
Must possess a solid understanding of event management, system/application health server operating system, agent and agentless monitoring, network, application and end-point performance, tuning and measurements. The candidate will ensure the COTS products function properly in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.
● Assist with testing and deploying hotfixes/patches/new releases of the tools suite.
● Assist with development of knowledge articles, documentation, and work instructions used by the Tools Team and tools users. Day Shift - Mon-Fri

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 14 years experience or HS/GED with 19 years experience in systems.engineering. Required Skills:

Proficient in Linux/UNIX commands

Windows Server Administration Desired Skills:
Application/SA Experience with the OpenText Ops Bridge Suite

Experience with OpenText Business Process Monitor (BPM)
Experience with OpenText OPTIC Data Lake
