Job summary Supports the IT Service department's customer-facing server infrastructure design, procurement, deployment and support.
Takes day-to-day direction from the IT Service Supervisor supporting customer project activities.
Support customer-facing server, virtualization, and storage design, procurement, and provisioning across a variety of manufacturers.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities • Work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary IT services team.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and customers.
• Participate in customers' enterprise IT/OT solutions design and architecture.
• Assure that all system changes are properly tested and documented.
• Possess a basic working knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 networking fundamentals.
• Respond to (and resolve, where applicable) tickets assigned through customer support ticketing systems.
• Assist in product evaluations as directed by the IT Manager.
• Mentor team members who show interest in these areas of responsibility.
