Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead - Systems Engineering to spearhead the evaluation, enhancement, and management of our technology infrastructure. The Technical Lead will be responsible for assessing both new and existing technologies, proposing solutions to improve performance, stability, and cost-effectiveness, and ensuring seamless integration with our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new and existing technologies used within the organization, documenting findings and proposing solutions for enhancement.
• Collaborate with IT professionals across the organization to provision infrastructure components and ensure they operate effectively for various projects and operations.
• Adhere to best practices and organizational IT policies, ensuring compliance and security in all technology initiatives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to delineate and document system requirements and components, aligning them with user/client needs, financial considerations, and integration requirements.
• Provide expert-level system administration support, particularly in Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory Administration, and core MS services such as Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, and DNS.
• Manage and monitor the Agency's Managed Application Servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for their incorporation into our systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in systems engineering, with a focus on evaluating, optimizing, and managing technology infrastructure.
• Expertise in system administration, particularly in Microsoft Windows servers and core MS services.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory Administration, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, and DNS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
• Strong commitment to quality, with a keen attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
