We’re hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Human Resources (HR). This position will manage the posting process for vacancies spanning multiple departments. Talent Acquisition Specialists work in partnership with hiring managers and other key department contacts to ensure vacancies are filled with the best possible candidates.
The successful candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment, successfully handle competing priorities, foster an outstanding applicant experience, and empower hiring managers to make equitable and timely hiring decisions. In addition to independently using critical thinking skills to develop effective solutions, our team members must have excellent relationship building and customer service skills.
Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site, at out-of-town recruitment/meeting locations, various Hennepin County building locations, and remote as job duties require. Hours will be flexible, during core business hours, Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. This position also requires the ability to work some evenings and weekends, occasionally on short notice, in order to attend recruiting events and meetings of community and professional organizations.
While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. About the position type :
This is a full-time, benefit earning position. You must be a current regular or probationary employee of Hennepin County to apply for this position. Limited duration employees are not eligible.
