• Group Policy management
• Strong Knowledge on server management tools, H/W  troubleshooting, Firmware & BIOS upgrade
• Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on Windows server (Blue Screen Errors, performance issues, permissions issues)
• Patch management and antivirus administration
• Troubleshooting the incidents & problems reported on the servers
• Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems
• Working knowledge of server virtualization host and Guest OS
• Generating regular reports
• Contribute to internal knowledge management system
• Should possess Team leadership skills
• Should be able to handle escalation calls
• Knowledge on Remote system administration
• Understanding of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning.
• Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
• Vendor Management.
• Provisioning & Decommissioning of Server

• Knowledge on any of monitoring tools like Tivoli Suite, NETIQ, Site scope
• PowerShell Scripting
• Knowledge on Exchange & VMware
• Knowledge on Citrix
• MCTS Certification
