Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Training Program Manager & Course Instructor to support the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Operations Command (SpOC) at Peterson SFB, CO. The Training Program Manager & Course Instructor will be a key member of a team providing advice and assistance across a wide range of intelligence programs with emphasis on development of intelligence training courses and classroom instruction.
• Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) techniques to develop curriculum for and instruct space power discipline courseware
• Provide technical and experiential insights across a wide range of space and intelligence programs
• Develop a Space Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) training program for Space Delta 7 (DEL 7)
• Analyze FISINT mission requirements and shortfalls, research and develop courses of action, design solutions and draft policy documents; assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives and plans
• Coordinate with key IC and DoD stakeholders, including the National Security Agency, Space Force Cryptologic Office, Space Operations Command, and associated space mission deltas to develop a community-wide, integrated approach to unit’s FISINT training requirements
• Guide development of unit’s operational FISINT training program to include Initial Qualification Training (IQT)/Mission Qualification Training (MQT)/Advanced Training (AT) and specific job qualification standards
• Position requires some travel
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
• Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Business Administration, Accounting, History, Political Science, Engineering, or related technical fields
• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience working within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and/or Space Mission Area as an ISR subject matter expert
• Experience developing space power discipline curriculum and instructing in a classified environment
• Experience in the use of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) techniques
• Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented responsible team player capable of interacting with senior leaders within the United States Space Force, the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community
• Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desired
• Experience with USSF organizations, mission, roles, and responsibilities
• Recognized space and ISR subject matter expert within areas of interest to the United States Space Force
• Experience or assignments in Space Operations Command/Air Force Space Command, Space Training & Readiness Command (STARCOM) and/or Air Education & Training Command (AETC)
• Basic Instructor Course/Basic Instructor Space Course attendance or advanced instructorship
• Experience instructing analytic tradecraft, such as critical thinking, structured analysis, and analytic writing
• Master’s degree in Intelligence, Business Administration, Accounting, History, Political Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields
