Responsibilities:

• Shoot, edit, and produce video for the Sunland website, social media

platforms, print publications, email communications, public relations outreach,

advertisements, special events, meetings/presentations, and other media as

needs arise. Contribute photos as experience and expertise allow.

• Generate high-quality still images and videos worthy of wide audiences that

showcase Sunland projects, people, events, and other offerings.

• Receive and manage all Sunland video and photography requests. Schedule,

organize, and manage video and photo shoots. Maintain a video and photo

shoot calendar.

• Contribute to the office's videography needs as video experience/expertise

allow. Storyboard concepts, film and conduct interviews, gather necessary b-roll

footage, and edit videos to meet Sunlands marketing and communication

standards and needs.

• Suggest and implement ideas for photo essays and promotional shoots that will

help Sunland recruit and retain members, and build community.

• Work to ensure all photography and videography created by the

Marketing Department meets the Sunlands brand guidelines.

• Brainstorm and suggest ideas for adding a photo or video component to

publications, stories, and other promotional efforts.

• Work with division leaders to maximize photo reach, and ensure our

best photos are published on the Sunland website and social medio platforms. Provide curated photo options and highlights from recent shoots to colleagues on a weekly basis.

• Attentively archive and organize valuable photography and video assets for

reuse in future projects. Add and organize photos in the Sunland cloud

account.

• Maintain all photography and videography gear and equipment.
• All other administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Work Experience and Education Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in video and digital photography
• Previous experience working for a construction business is a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Premiere,

Lightroom, and After Effects.

• Ability to expertly operate mid- to high-level cameras, video cameras,

microphones, and lighting.

• Demonstrated proficiency and passion for modern photography and

videography styles.

• Enthusiasm for a variety of image styles and a commitment to quality work across

genres.

• Must be dependable, respectful, self-motivated, adaptable, efficient, and

personable.

• Must be able to fit into the Sunland culture
• Must be comfortable working both independently and with our Sunland and Marketing team.
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects, respond to immediate requests, and

work in a high-energy, deadline-driven atmosphere.

• Must employ a deep respect and appreciation for our various audiences and

their interests and habits.

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Regular hours will be Monday-Friday,

approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but some evening hours may be

required. However, your work week will be limited to 40 hours.
