Job Description:

Position Overview

This position is responsible for performing general fabrication tasks including operating fabrication machinery to perform sheet metal layout and welding work.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Operate machinery in the layout and assembly of fabrication jobs
• Perform skilled welding operations and routine preventative maintenance of equipment
• Perform housekeeping activities as needed

What is expected of you and others at this level

• Intermediate skills in own work area within an analytical/scientific method or operational process
• Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
• Works within standard operation procedures and/or scientific methods
• Works with a moderate degree of supervision

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience required
