Description:

Established property management company is growing and seeks an Assistant Property Manager with at least two years experience to grow with us. Primary duties include assisting licensed managers with an established portfolio(s) of residential properties including community associations, co-ops and rentals. This position will evolve into the right hire overseeing a growing portfolio of their own. Team-oriented, professional and friendly working environment. Property management software knowledge is a plus, but we will train. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Benefits package.

Duties May Include:

  • Assisting licensed managers with an established portfolio of clients
  • Regularly inspecting multiple community associations
  • Issuing maintenance work directives and verifying their completion
  • Coordinating and overseeing maintenance programs
  • Communicating with contractors
  • Communicating (verbal and written) with homeowners and residents on day-to-day matters
  • Communicating with boards
  • Executing board decisions and administering their policies
  • Attending periodic board meetings
  • Interpreting and enforcing governing documents and laws
  • Reviewing, interpreting and distributing monthly financial reports
  • Bidding out services and drafting service contracts
  • Drafting notices and mailings
  • Overseeing the payment of invoices
  • Overseeing the collection of assessments
  • Investing association reserve funds
  • Periodically filing insurance claims
