Associate Technicians are involved in the day-to-day operations of data production and are embedded within a production team, and will aid in the processing and classification of remote sensing data and general operational efforts to support team functionality. This individual will learn to produce accurate and precise data products in a consistent and timely manner, and have a strong interest and aptitude for working with geospatial data.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the efforts of technicians and analysts
  • Visually identifies blemishes or anomalies in data and takes appropriate action
  • Manipulates and classifies data with great attention to detail and efficiency
  • Meets reasonable deadlines
  • Maintains precision and accuracy in high volume workflows
  • Takes direction from colleagues and management
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience using MS Office Suite and Google Drive

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skills: ESRI, CADD or vector base
  • Bachelor's degree or admission into a four-year science or engineering bachelor program, or equivalent experience
