Bridge Technical Manager

Growing Chicago based firm looking to add a talented Bridge Technical Manager to their team!

Responsibilities:

• Mentor/direct junior staff technical skills while executing projects
  
• Manage technical aspects of a project (assessing what analyses need completed and correct approach for analysis)
  
• Communicate technical progress/issues to Project Manager
  
• Follow internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking
  
• Serve as technical specialist and/or advisor on projects
  
• Perform, review, and manage technical analysis and design
  
• Advance skills to become a leading subject matter expert on targeted elements
  

Requirements:

• Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural)
  
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience with a focus on transportation projects
  
• Licensed SE in IL
  
• Advanced knowledge/proficient in software required for discipline
  
• Advanced knowledge/proficient in applicable codes/standards that govern discipline
  
• Experience mentoring and managing junior staff
  
• Experience with MicroStation
  
• IDOT, ISTHA, and CDOT experience preferred
  
• Experience with 3D bridge modeling preferred
  
• Construction Engineering Services experience preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
