About the position:

The CDL Driver/Laborer will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites, as well as assisting with various construction tasks as needed.

What you will do:

• Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles, including trucks with trailers, to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the proper loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites, using proper lifting and safety techniques.
• Perform general construction labor duties, including but not limited to digging, trenching, lifting, carrying, and operating hand and power tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a acceptable driving record is required.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate various types of construction equipment and tools .
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to driving and construction work .
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
